1972 AMC Hornet

Vehicle Details

Up for auction is my rust free, low mileage 1972 Hornet SST. I'm an AMC, Nash guy and this is by far the most solid Hornet that I've ever seen. I have the paper work from the sale of the car to the first person in Virginia. Car was made up to look like a 70's muscle car with it's Cragar SS wheels, side stripes, hood scoop, hood pins and traction bars. I had thought about pulling the 6 cylinder out and replacing with a V8 but with it's low mileage 59,000, and the way it runs I just don't have the heart. Car has power steering and front disc brakes. I would not think twice about driving cross country. With it's newer paint, brand new wheels and tires and bumpers that just returned from the chrome plating shop, it stands out in a crowd. Every one walks right past the high dollar Corvettes, Camaros and Mustangs to check out the Hornet. Most think it's a Mopar. (In some ways it is since Chrysler did take them over) Dare to be different. I tried to get some pictures of the underside of the car to show how solid it is. No patch panels. Check out how solid the rocker panels are with all original spot welds. Interior and glass is in nice shape with everything in working order including the cigarette/ power port. Am/Fm stereo with 600 watts and 6x9 rear speakers puts out the tunes. I'm sure I have forgotten some details about the car but just ask and I'll let you know. I have sold a couple cars in the past here on Ebay and have always had 100 percent positive feedback so bid with confidence. Have a buy it now price in mind? Give me a call. 412-583-1548. I will help with shipping from my end but at new owners expense. Car is sold as is with no warranty. I reserve the right to end auction at anytime. Thanks for checking it out. Older AMC's in this condition just don't show up for sale to often. Not interested in any trades.
