RARE1969 American Motors Ambassador SST 390 AMX 4-DOOR SEDAN.
Most of these high-powered 4-door sedans were used by police departments, limousine and taxi companies.
Not many survived, but here's your chance to own a very rare AMC with aFactory AMC X-code 390 cubic inch V8.(Same engine as the most collectible of AMC muscle cars.)10.2:1 compression ratioForged steel crankshaft and connecting rods4-barrel carburetor316 horsepower424 lb-ft of torque.

I am the 4th owner.The original owner owned the car for 47 years.Third owner drove it to my house when I purchased it.In my opinion, the car should be fully serviced due to the mileage before driving regularly.Inever licensed and insured the car andI drove it only around my neighborhood.
It has a STRONG 390/4V engine.Transmission shifts as it should, but has a leak, perhaps from the pan gasket.Front suspension should be inspected and serviced. Its old.I never inspected the brakes. It stops fine.A/C system is complete but has not been converted to the new Freon, nor has it been checked for leaks.Prior owner installed dual exhaust.Air Cleaner Lid is not original, but an aftermarket top.
