Selling my baby! This is a 1959 AMC Rambler "Super" Station Wagon - pink with white fins! I've had this since college, but no longer have the means to house it or refurbish it. It was being restored at a shop in Los Angeles when covid hit and they shut down, in the middle of having sent the engine out for restoration to another shop. So now it's missing the "straight 6" engine, though with some detective work you might be able to track it down. I can provide the winning bidder with the contact info of the last restoration place. The parts that were already restored was:
- all insulation around windows and doors- front disc brakes and new drums in the back- all tubings that run through the car (a lot of the mechanics, like windshield wipers, are pressure controlled"- The chassis is rust-free due to the pure metal they used in those days- All glass intact, front and rear benches totally clean with no tears- Comes with a bunch of spare parts that I had purchased from various remaining Rambler auctions and dealers. They're in the back.- Comes with original and valid plates
With some TLC and drop in a new engine this baby can be back up and humming in no time.
