For sale I have a First Year Production 1968 AMC AMX #2979 made in Laurel Green with black interior. This car has a 290ci engine with the Borg-Warner M-11 Automatic Transmission. Numbers matching. Also equipped with Power Steering and Power Brakes.

This car has been maintained and well kept in garages for its entire life living in a desert climate so it is rust free. It has virtually 0 dents, just minor scratches and chips from over the years, it is a very straight car. Along with being a great car, it comes with a folder full of old literature, parts books, various receipts for work done on the car over its entire life from the 1st and 2nd owners, the original owners manual booklet that came with the car, the original owner card and original keys with dealer keychain. Very nostalgic and authentic to the car. It also includes the Engine build receipt and Transmission build receipt as they have both been rebuilt and are fresh with very little miles on them. The only shortcomings of this car are a power-steering pump that leaks and the heater core. The heater core is in great shape but one of the hose connections has become disconnected at the core but could easily be fixed by a radiator shop.
