BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
This car has been in Az for many yrs and has avoided the
rust and rot most cars this old have subsided to. Its been in
AZ or CA its whole life. Very complete, original rare Marlin with some
great options and most of its original paint. Some cool Patina too.
I can start the car using a small container of fuel under the hood
and E fuel pump, yes.
So I bled the brakes today, but think the RR wheel cylinder is leaking. Sothey work somewhat, but not enough I believe to drive it yet.
ALSO update on how its running. It starts and idles pretty decent, but easierto start when I pour a little gas down the carb. Also, it bogs when you giveit gas. My guess the accelerator pump on the Holley is bad or the internalsare plugged. I may try to put a new accelerator pump on this week and see
if It makes it more drive or movable at least.
Chances are someone will put a Carter style AFB factory style carb on it
during its restoration Im hoping
Fuel tank needs to be cleaned out Im sure for starters and
some other restoration before its road worthy.
This is prob one of the most rust free, surviving non restored
Original Marlins left out there. Super solid SW desert car. No rust of rot
on the rockers, floors etc. A few bubble I think on one of the
rear 1/4s is about all. 95% original paint left on there too.
Super nice chrome and complete stainless trim too.
I may of found a parts car I can get some parts off too that
this car is missing (here in town)
Its been here in the dry Az climate for many yrs.
DONT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS IN HAND
BUILD ANYWAY YOU WANT, NO HARM NO FOUL !
Excellent Investment / Clean Clear Arizona Title

Up for Auction: LOW FAIR RESERVE !!!
DRIVETRAIN: factory V8, 327 4v aprox 85k miles on it before
it was parked here Az. Motor runs and has no smoke or weird
noises. It was initially parked due to a bad freeze plug over 15 yrs
ago with aprox 85k on it. Lots of cool options too.
Factory auto trans and console and I huge Rambler rearend, which
I believe is a limited slip too. Ive driven it slow and carefully around
our yard and up and down the street for about a minute.
Cant keep water in it much longer then that.
LF wheel is a 15" and not original.
INTERIOR: take a look at the pics, Az has been pretty brutal
on this area. We removed some of the carpet to see how nice the floors
Factory buckets and long console and armrest. AC, and
cool interior, even the original AM radio. Its dry, a little crusty
and some of the vinyl is very hard, but looks okay in the pics.
Does have a slight smell to whats left of the old carpet.
All the glass is good, except for some chips in the front wind
shield. Wipers work, AC-heater blower works too.
Inside the trunk, what Id call mild rust in the center from
the rubber mat over the yrs, but try and check out all the pics
for more detailed info.
EXTERIOR:the body very straight for its age, but this is a 90%
rust FREE survivor. All the sheet metal looks to be original from
1965, at least from what I can tell. Minor damage to the LF headlight
area. Ft bumper is loose and not bolted on. Ft bumper-ettes are
loose sitting on the front floorboard. Some minor bondo repair
on the pass side door it seems. And some primer on some areas
of the original paint.
The exterior lights function with the switch.
See pics.SEE PICS PLEASE !!
SUSPENSION:the suspension looks normal from what I can see
Just your basic factory set up front and rear.It has discbrakes
up front, Ill check and post more pics. No wacky mods and surface rust at
best. Makes coming apart a breeze. Tires are rollers at best.
No spare or jack
Factory 4 piston front disc brakes are cool and the brakes are
working. Factory original rear crossflow muffler is almost gone.
Check out ALL the pics below ----->
it may take a full minute for them all to load ifyou have a
slow connection, so be patient AND looks for the extra scroll
bar on the right side.
Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
more infoAFTER the pics etc. There are 100 large pics.
There you go, probably The BEST represented RAMBLERS on Ebay.Shows you all the good as well as any bad.
We put a lot of time and effort in marketing our cars.
People wait months for a car this solid to come up for sale
and even if you have to pay shipping to your area, it still beats
paying a body shop to hopefully fix a rusty car for weeks.
Having as much as the original steel on a non restored car these
speaks volumes. Survivors are getting harder to find !
Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
People are flipping cars all the time when most of the jobs are
fast, for a quick buck and quality suffers.
Email us with ANY questions before you bid please
Our Impeccable FEEDBACK speaks for itself. We show you as
