Description:
1961 AMC Station Wagon 4 door
This poor old 1961 Rambler Cross Country Station Wagon is in need of a new home. It would be an excellent candidate for a RAT ROD or PARTS CAR. It is RUSTED and ROTTED, so bad that the transmissionand engineis falling out as the cross member holding it in place has broken lose. Restoration on this vehicle is NOT for the faint at heart. The floor boards arerusted out so bad in the front that you able to see the grass under your feet. The six (6) cylinder engine hasn't run in years, and the curved front windshield has been cracked. It has a steel engine block. That having been said, there might be someone out there who needs some of the good parts left on this car. The rear window crank assembly is in working order and the roof rack may be pitted but it is all there. The dash board is good as well as some of the other parts. The tires seem good and it even has 4 original hub caps. PLEASE LOOK AT PHOTO 17 CAREFULLY SEE THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION ON THE GRASS.
This car would be an excellent candidate fora crash car in a movieor lawn art to annoy your neighbors.
