Description:
1968 AMC American Rambler
Hello. This car has been in our family for 25 years. My father bought it from the original owner in 1991. It’s in VERY CLEAN original condition - very straight and mostly stock. Runs good. I just drove it over a hundred miles transporting it to our new home. Its been garaged its entire life. When not in use its been started and ran regularly. Good paint - still takes wax. Newer upholstery and wheels. Tires (Michelin) are very good (pictured). New spare tire and wheel. Very cool waffle textured headliner. Interior carpet is in very good condition - no major wear. Straight six with three on the tree manual transmission. I have years of service records and receipts (pictured). Some minor dings and dents (pictured). Needs a new dash. Some markings on back where original owner had mounted some funny trailer lights (pictured) All original lights are working. Also comes with a bunch of extra parts that my father has collected over the years.
THIS CAR IS READY TO DRIVE or a great start for a hot rod project or full restoration.
