Nick-named "Kermit" by the neighborhood kids. Kermit was purchased by the original owner from Mockingbird AMC here in Dallas, Texas in the spring of 1973. The 2nd owner acquired it from her estate in 2011. The color is correct - Code E3/00 Fairway Green. Ordered with only one option - heavy duty cooling system, probably in anticipation of the dealer installed Air Conditioning; confirmed by the original Bill of Lading from Mockingbird AMC. Still have the original radio delete plate, no holes were cut when the 2nd owner installed the stereo, stick on antenna inside the windshield. Hasdefinitelybeen painted here and there, looks to me like the left fender has been replaced at one time. Surface rust on front bumper. Dent in driver door - see pics. Car has lots of patina, touch up spots, etc - enjoy it like it is, or repaint eventually. No cracks in dash, armrests, or seats. Glass is all good.5 digit odometer reads 24K, title reads "exempt" due to the age of the vehicle. Not representing it as 24 or 124? I will say the car runs, drives and handles great! Always starts right up, no shakes, shimmies, pulling...check out the drive video. Clutch vibrates a little on take off until you get used to it - pressure plate eventually? New tires. Recent or new : belts, hoses, radiator, shocks, springs. The undercarriage is indicative of a dry climate Texas car from to back, very solid Gremlin. Draws a crown wherever it goes! You can't look at this car and not smile. The original identification plates are in place and legible. This car is correct to its original trim codes. I do not a have a "but it now" price and would prefer to let the auction play out.
