1956 Alfa Romeo Spider SPIDER 1300

1956 Alfa Romeo 750 Spyder, n original "Black Plate" car in superb rust free condition, his car retains its California pink slip showing the same owner registered in 1969.
I contacted Marco Fazio at Alfa RomeoCentro Documentazion in Milan who confirmed build date as November 2nd 1956 and sale to Hoffman Motor Cars the Alfa Romeo importer in the USA on 10th November 1956.He also confirmed the chassis number as 1495 00801 and matching Motor Number 1315 40724, xterior :Red AR505 nterior: Black
As you can see from the original Pink Slip this Alfa lived in Ontario California until the 1990s when it was bought by its last owner and moved up to California's Bay Area, t seems that it was stripped at that time in preperation for a full restoration, he owner then went about collecting and documenting every part and piece required.Every single item it seems has either been rechromed, owder coated, etrimmed or replaced with either NOS or top quality replacement, ach and every item wrapped or boxed and categorized, he owner was very much OCD and as such there are many receipts and lists for the accumulated parts included in a folder.
The bodyshell is still in its rolling state and is about as rust free as its possible to get, here were two small holes on the passenger side floor under the seat mounts, he same on driver side, s you can see my body guy welded a complete patch into the floor pan, e straightened out both rear wheel arches which had been hammered to allow for wider wheels, e also straightened out the nose which had been dented and lightly skimmed with bondo, t is now straight and literally all metal. The doors and trunk lid are all numbered and can be seen in the picture gallery listed below, anel fit is excellent.Motor has been removed and is essentially in one piece, t spins on the flywheel, as its original head, nlet and exhaust manifold and correct carb and distributor, t also has its proper distributor, uel pump mounted on the front of the head, orrect air cleaner etc. it is obviously going to need a thorough rebuild.All parts are there and there are several duplicates ready for rebuild. The gearbox is also the correct original unit

Please note, ot shown in the pictures but the windshield is there as are the chrome trims that surround it, lso the fuel tank is there and has been reconditioned completely
