1974 ALFA ROMEO GTV 2000 EURO SPEC that was completely restored by RED LINE to AS NEW CONDITION about 8 years ago
ORIGINAL NEVADA CAR WITH FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM
Owner/Seller always wanted one of these classic Alfa Romeos in his collection, ut in a garage of V8s and V12s racking-up 2-3,000 mi/year each, his one just never really caught his heart as expected, nd has added under 275 mi in almost a year. So, t's time for it to make room for something else.
Probably fewer than1,200 Miles since restoration. Per the previous owner, very system in this Alfa was either bought new or completely rebuilt:
MOTOR
2.0 motor rebuilt from the crank up
New pistons liners, istons, achined crank, ew gaskets, eals, earings, tc.
Converted to euro-spec Weber carburetors (no SPICA injection), ejetted to US fuel
Head - 3 angle valve job, alve guides, alve seals, ll new gaskets and seals, tc…
New spark plugs, gnition wires, istributor cap, gnition rotor, tc.
New electric fuel pump and larger-flow fuel filter (March 2015)
New exhaust system installed
Oil Sump Guard
Starts on first twist of the key.
TRANSMISSION
5-speed transmission completely rebuilt
All new gear synchros, earings, eals, tc.
New 3 piece clutch - pressure plate, earing and clutch disk
Flywheel re-surfaced - no chatter or whining from the bearing
The transmission shifts perfectly in every gear - 2nd gear is perfect - no grinding
New clutch slave cylinder
Royal Purple synthetic gear fluid
Rear Differential - overhauled with new bearings, eals, oyal Purple synthetic gear oil

Prior to restoration, as sunbaked but rust free except for the outer rockers and spare tire carrier, hich had slight perforations from holding moisture
New Alfa Romeo OEM outer rocker panels were purchased from Classic Alfa and professionally installed
Car was stripped to bare metal
Hood, oors, runk lid were painted separately prior to mounting on the body
Repainted inside and out with Alfa Romeo Azzurro Pervinca Met using PPG Deltron base/clear
New one-piece spare tire carrier from Mr. Fiat, irst painted Azzurro Pervinca Met, nd then installed to replace perforation-damaged spare tire carrier
Perfect, ust-free original jack points
Perfect, riginal rust-free factory floors
Alfa Romeo “Serpent” stickers professionally installed (can be removed without damage to the paint)
GLASS & TRIM
New Windshield glass, nd front and rear gaskets
New rubber moldings and seals, ncluding gas door apron, eady for installation
All new hardware was utilized - new bolts, uts, ashers, tc.

Over $35,000 was spent to restore this GTV, ut bear in mind that although it was stripped to metal, s an 8year old restoration on a 41 year old car, o wear, ear, mperfections under the paint surfacing, nd leaks are to be expected.
