1978 Alfetta GT. This car spent it's life in the desert south west of Arizona. I purchased it about four years ago and drove it back home to the dry, high desert town of Durango, where I have spared no expense of time and money to bring it to where it is today. The body and chassis is virtually rust free, except for a small bubble in front of the door. No other rust is present anywhere on the car. While in phoenix the car was serviced by the late great Charlie, from Auto International. Under my care the car has been expertly tuned by Doc Gordon in Albuquerque.
-Centerline Electronic distributor, new plugs and wires-custom exhaust with magnaflow muffler and silencer-Upper and lower ball joints and tie rods-Dedion poly bushings
- clutch master and slave cleaners and all lines-brake booster and lines-air filter-air conditioning works, but is not very cold
-interior is clean and complete
-shifts smoothly, no grinding whatsoever
-engine stars easily and idles smoothly. Slight starter grind on disengaging (have not diagnosed)
-steering is tight with no shakes, shimmies or wandering.
-body is excellent...$10k paint job approximately four years ago. No dents or dings.
-euro chrome bumpers and mirrors
-NOS Borbet Wheels 15" wheels
-all guibos replaced in the last four years, except the very front
-wood wheel
-Ithas been a very hard choice in deciding to sell this car. I had a collection of three alfas and I have decided to downsize to just one. The '75 one owner spider with 40k has made the keeper cut. I will be heartbroken to let this go, but I need the money for other ventures. Please feel free to contact with any questions. I just drove the car on an eight hour round trip and she ran beautifully at highway speeds. She's a real head turner and runs and drives as good as she looks!
