Vehicle Details

Was my finished and running vehicle while I worked on my other Alfa projects.

I’ve owned the car since maybe 2007.

I drove it home to Oakland ca from Portland Oregon.

It’s always been a good runner. However the motor was rebuilt around 2008.

Before it was hit, it was really nicely done. And I had sunk a lot into it: below is a recap of the main points-

The car had a bunch of rust when I purchased it and I drove it that way for some time.

In my ownership, I replaced the sheetmetal in the trunk and rear clip. Floor pans and rockers.

I had the mechanicals tight, interior and bodywork was redone and great and I would drive it anywhere.

Including through an intersection where I was T-boned by a Honda running a red at about 30mph.

Obviously needs massive body repair.

But:

Motor and drive train is 100% tight RELIABLE AND FAST.

Meticulously balanced and blue-printed by my high school buddy who builds motors professionally for epifani restorations. Dual weber side draft and a factory cold air box. Custom exhaust.

Gearbox was 100% rebuilt, including new synchros, but also I had the gears themselves machined and lightened for less rotating mass and less work for the syncros.

The car itself is 1964 giulia ti column shift (5 forward gears and reverse on the column)

Which has a bench seat in the front so your passenger can sit right up next to you. With no gearshift in tbe way.

Real red oxblood leather upholstery, new headliner etc… done before the accident. According to the berlina register It’s one of the earliest 4-door 105’s in the states. And certainly not many other column-shift cars here.

A very unique and rare set of options for a 4door alfa in the states.

Limited slip 4:10 rear end.

Discs on all corners. (Some early giulia had drum rears)

Suspension (springs/shocks ball joints/control arms/sway bar) has been upgraded and is all sorted.

Aluminum wheels.

I have all the replacement sheetmetal. Including a set of 2 passenger doors and a brand new off the shelf front fender, a set of rocker panels and rear bottom section of the fenders.

Salvage title

Car was nicely sorted and used regularly, has already had the rust repaired. So once it gets straightened there should be no surprises.

I also have a spare gauge cluster, second set of column shift linkages, spare tail lights, original 4-1 intake manifold, and the original downdraft solex

Video of the car runnning here (the car was properly warmed before revving it out)

The csr still runs and drives great post accident. Tracks straight. Electricals and all systems work as they should.
