Description:

1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce

This 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider
Veloce (Pinnanfarina), is a timeless beauty.
The red finish caresses this sleek body and looks phenomenal while paired with a near- new black canvas soft top and tan interior. The leather bucket seats are comfortable and are complimented with a nice center console. The gauge package is large and easy to keep an eye on all the important readings. This 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce hosts a 2.0-liter DOHC engine is attached to a 5-speed manual transmission, and fuel injection. This equates to easy starts, quick thrust off the line, tight handling for the corners, and great fuel economy. Release two latches and drop the top for some fun in the sun. This Alfa Romeo Spider has just the options you need, as the car is all about driving excitement! A/C, power windows, comfortable bucket seats, (the passenger side seat has a slight wear patch towards the front), a manual convertible top, and new radial tires on sporty Alfa Romeo alloy wheels!
This beauty is very clean inside and out and ready to make a new owner proud. Painted in Ferrari red, this car really looks, feels and drives sporty! I believe the car was originally white, but had been repainted. I drove it on weekends and around town...but the truth is the paint is not quite car show quality, but is still... really, really nice.
That exterior red color is paired with a tan interior. This Spider Veloce is well optioned with AC, power brakes, AM/FM/CD Alpine stereo with booste, (4) Boston Acoustic speakers, power windows, power mirrors, and interior locking trunk and gas release levers.
It comes with all previous documentation, owner’s manual, original flawless floormats, a 300.00 matching dash cover, original Alfa cloth fitted car cover, convertible boot cover, and clear bra on the front of the hood. I'm also including the original Alfa cloth car-cover, (300.00) sheepskin seat covers, a perfect spare and wheel, and the original Alfa tool kit.
These were the last Spiders that were built in Turin Italy. This sporty little two-seater is sure to put a smile on the face of you and your passenger ...and receive thumbs up from everyone you pass!
These were also just named to Motor Junkie's list of "30 Cars to Invest in Right Now!" These cars are a solid investment, a thrill to drive, and have a strong following. Don’t try to compare pricing with the many more produced Quadrafolios... as the Veloce - Pinanfarina series are much more desirable.
I have owned this great car for almost 26 years, and have kept it garaged the entire time in Colorado, and had it serviced as recommended. I absolutely love this car, but I have probably not put 5000 miles on it in the entire time I have owned it. The undercarriage has absolutely no rust...and through the documentation, I see it was originally purchased in NJ, then spent time in New Mexico. I'm not sure why Ebay has it stated that it had 4 owners, but I'm the 3rd owner. I live part of the year in Australia, and in the mountains of Southern Colorado. I need a 4 wheel drive....not a sports car!????
I bought it in Englewood Colorado around 2007, but don’t know much else passed on by the gentleman I purchased it from. It starts easily, has no leaks, and the motor purrs like a kitten. The engine compartment is in white, so as I had mentioned previously, I assume the car was also white at one time.... but I purchased it in the Ferrari red you see here.
*Update: 10.12.23, I have just had the entire fuel system gone through by an experienced Italian car mechanic, ( I will provide documentation), for 3500.00. The car was not accelerating properly...and it was found that, having been garaged for 3 years, the gas with Ethanol had congealed and jammed the injectors. The entire fuel system's hoses, injectors, both fuel pumps and gas tank, have been replaced, and the gas tank has been taken out and steam cleaned by a professional service in Denver. It is running like new now!
