1978 Alfa Romeo Spider

Up for sale is this 1978 Spider that has been set up for the road and the track.
I purchased this car from an older gentleman who had built it up to its current state.
As a result I do not have all of the details of what exact parts were used in the rebuild.
The engine was built by Alfa West here in Denver about 25 years ago. It has had few miles on it since.
I know it has 45mm Weber carbs, and has LOTS of power!
I believe it has 10.4/1 pistons, Centerline PC455 cams, the valves (intake and exhaust) are 1mm oversized with performance springs and teflon guide seals.
Engine has been balanced, ported and polished.
Exhaust headers.
Lightened flywheel.
The 5-speed transmission was rebuilt at the same time as the engine, and it shifts smoothly, with no 2nd gear issues.
It does occasionally pop out of 1st gear when accelerating if you don't hold the shifter in place.
The suspension was also rebuilt with Koni shocks and Centerline springs.
Panasport wheels with older Pirelli P-Zero tires. (These tires are in good condition, but have a date code of April 1998)
Momo steering wheel.
The interior has black cloth seats that are very comfortable and in very nice condition.
3 inch wide 4 point seat belts with quick release.
The top is new condition black cloth with a perfect rear window.
Alfa West roll bar installed
Shankle front and rear spoilers
Carrello headlight coversIt does have a new battery
This is a very fun Alfa to drive, and it is pretty loud.
It did pass emissions 4 years ago with a lot of tuning. It has the catalytic converter, but would need an air pump to pass now.
Due to its high state of tune, it does not start easily when cold, but once running it does very well.
It has been stored inside, all of the time, since the restoration.
The car does have a few small dings and scratches. Nothing major.
It also has some rust in the spare tire well. I do not see any other rust on the car.
The spare is brand new on a nice original Campagnolo wheel.
It currently shows 18,773 miles, which I do not believe to be actual miles for the car.
It has an Alpine stereo that is currently not getting power. I am going to try and fix this.
