1982 Alfa Romeo GTV

This GTV6 is a daily driver with no body rust. No current mechanical issues, and driven on a semi-regular basis. It currently holds a clean Oregon title, but is in San Francisco, California. Jeremy Clarkson's favorite car - he currently owns and drives a later year version.This GTV6 has been altered in the following ways: The dual plate clutch has been swapped with a single plate clutch due to the original clutch regularly fusing, and then failing. It has also been lowered to European specifications, reversing the change that was made to the GTV6 to conform to USA federal regulations applicable when it was originally imported. Lastly, a Nardi steering wheel was added.The dashboard is cracked in several places, a common problem for this particular type of car. The radio, and some speaker grilles are missing, The previous owner replaced the original steering wheel with one that did not block the tachomoter but the original wheel conveys with the car. Neither the AC nor the heat is known to work but I believe that these are electrical issues, and are not due to mechanical damage. While it is a very good example of the car, having been lightly used its entire life, it should be clear from the photos and description that this is not a show car. For all of these reasons, I am listing this car with NO RESERVE. The high bidder will win this car. This has been a difficult year and it's not over yet. What better decision could you possibly make but to buy a 38 year old Italian sports coupe? Happy bidding!
