1991 Alfa Romeo Spider

You're viewing my partially restored 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider. This car is in overall good shape and just needs a little bit of minor bodywork (a few tiny dings and a few areas of rust in the floors/spare tire carrier. I was told they can be repaired easily and not that expensive. It needs fresh paint to look fantastic. It's still wearing its original factory silver paint, hich looks fine from a few feet away but upon closer inspection you can see it's fading and is ready for a new coat. The car has never been hit or in an accident. The sun created a shadow in a few pics of the front of the car that make it look like the bumper is crooked/big gap...it's not...again, ust a shadow. The cars interior was partially restored not long ago with fresh leather/suede seat covers and door panels (in fact the plastic is still on the door panels). The dash has a few small cracks which is very common. I believe they sell dash caps that look great and will cover it right up without going thru the hassle of replacing the entire dash. The carpets and mats are in good shape. The car runs and drives fine, ut isn't used regularly so I would recommend having it gone thru before any extensive driving is done. Brakes are good, ires are checked. The soft top is in decent condition, nd the rare factory hard top is available to purchase with the car for an additional $1500 above auction closing price. It's a nice addition to have for the cooler Fall and Spring drives, ut again, s NOT included in this auction. You may purchase it for an additional $1500. The inner rear latches of the hardtop are missing so it can be secured with zip ties...I just never got around to replacing because it's secure and I like the look of the hardtop on the car so I don't take it off (I had 3 Spiders until recently...one of my others is in another auction on here now and I just sold my other '91)...if I wanted an open air car that particular day I'd drive one of my others. It will be removed after the auction unless you want to purchase it. I am a private collector, ot a dealer, imply thinning down my collection of 12 collector cars due to a recent move onto the river (lack of parking/garage space). See my other listings. The car is being sold with no warranties of any kind. It is a running driving stopping car that can pretty much be used right away and restore as you like. Do not expect a $30k show car. I consider this a #4 on the Hagerty Valuation scale, hich still values it at almost $10,000. Buy this for way less! All sales final. Feel free to ask any questions or make an offer to end early as the car is listed in other venues and auction can end at any time. Again...the hardtop is NOT included in this auction...available for $1500 over winning bid. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
