1969 Alfa Romeo “roundtail” Spider Veloce. All 1969 US models were fitted with the 1,750 cc engine and SPICA mechanical fuel injection, but like many Alfas, Spider Veloce has been converted to dual Webers making it responsive and easy to maintain. The original SPICA mechanical fuel injection is with the car. This car has service records going back to 1994. All major mechanical components have been serviced through its life. The engine, transmission, brakes and suspension all work as new. This car is a delight to drive, making excellent power with no smoke and has excellent oil pressure. The suspension is firm yet compliant and the brakes stop the car effectively and evenly. Second gear synchro is excellent, both when warm and cold. This car is a high-level driver, smooth, light and lively, meant to be enjoyed on a sunny Sunday. The Pininfarina body is straight and dent free, the panel fit is excellent. The Alfa red paint is very nice and the black vinyl and padded dash are in very good condition. The door panels, rubber mats and carpets are also all in good condition. The body, paint and panel fit are all in good condition. The trim, gaskets, window glass and lenses are also in excellent condition. The stainless steel bumper and grille are in good condition. This car is a very clean car topside and on the underside and chassis. It is fitted with a good set of Sumito HTR 200 195/70/14 tires. Comes with all service records back to 1994, the original owner’s manual, tool kit, jack, two sets of keys and the spare.
