Wow!!! To say this is a unique, rare, head turning, fun to drive little Italian classic micro-car is an understatement. I promise you won't run into another one of these on the road or maybe anywhere!
Check out Wikipedia for details on the Italian auto company Autobianchi and this model, the Bianchina. This car is based on the famous Fiat 500. This is a 1960 car, and the rare Transformable model which means it transforms from fixed roof to targa roof via a manual retractable cloth folding top. Another very cool feature of this model is the suicide style doors!
Let me start by saying I am helping my father sell this car, which is located in his garage in Tallahassee, FL. He recently bought this car through an auction company in Great Brittain and had it carefully shipped to his doorstep. He loves it but has decided he wants to move on to another car project (he often does this much to my chagrin!). Please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them.
I am not 100 percent sure, but this car appears to be an all original, well taken care of example. Paint is very nice and body is very straight. Interior is extremely nice. No rust anywhere to be found and hopefully the pictures reflect that. Car is not concours perfect, photos show a spot on the passenger door that has been touched up and rear trunk piece shows some wear as shown. Very nice light baby blue color. Odometer shows a little over 11,000 kilometers which seems right based on the condition. All around this car is in very good condition and everything works as it should. He has only driven it on a handful of short trips and said it drives fine with no issues.
We hope this fun little Italian micro-car can find a nice new loving home. Please have funds ready before biding and please ask any questions before auction ends. Car is being sold with a bill of sale only. Shipping, taxes, etc. are the responsibility of the buyer. Inspections are welcome and encouraged for serious bidders. Thanks for looking and good luck!
