This auction is for a real time capsule of a car. 1990 Acura Legend L 2.7L V6 Automatic with 38,000 original miles. Yes you read that correctly this car only has 38,000 miles on it. Car came to Illinois in 2015 by the previous owner who purchased it in 2012 in New Mexico, when the car had around 30,000 miles. By looking at the carfax, the car sat from 2003-2012 and was sold to the previous owner. I am the third owner of this car. I have a clean Illinois title in my name.
Car runs and drives perfect. Everything works on the car. In the last 500 miles ive done several maintenance items to get the car ready for the road. Ive had the power steering pump replaced, the rack and pinion replaced and ive had the timing belt done, so it is ready to drive anywhere!
Car has power windows, power locks, aftermarket alarm system, cruise control, A/C, memory seats, antilock brakes, power steering, sunroof, original Acura Cassette Radio and it all works. Every button and dial work as they should.
Car has very little rust on it, theres a few spots on the rear valance under the trunk lid that held moisture. Easily repaired i just haven't had the time. Cosmetically the car is very nice, could use a good buff, and there are a few parking lot dings and the corners of the bumpers have some scratches. A few of the marker light lenses have hairline cracks. With very little effort this car could be in showroom condition.
Interior is in great condition. Missing the original floor mats, and there are a few stains on the carpets. No tears in the seats, seats have a few small stains here and there but its a 30 year old car. Its not perfect but its probably one of the nicest low mileage Acura Legends in existence.
