Description:

1949 Willys

This auction is for a 1949 Willys Jeep CJ3A. First year for the CJ3. Frame off rotisserie restoration just completed. Finished in PPG French blue with a custom 1x2 box steel frame structure to strengthen tub underside (no more water absorbing wood). Both top and underside were sealed to keep the vehicle rust free. The Chevrolet 5.7 fuel injected motor, and TH350 transmission were both rebuilt. The Flow-Master exhaust is new. The original Novak transfer case adapter, and Dana T18 transfer case were both inspected and new seals installed. Axles are Dana 25 front, and Dana 41 rear. The speedometer cable driven, but not accurate (not many speedo gear choices from the transfer case).
