Description:

1950 Willys

This is a fully restored 1950 Willy's CJV35/U. Restoration completed 2010. 500 miles since restoration completed. 1 of 1000 built in May of 1950 for the USMC. This was the only Willy's military contract Jeep between WW2 and the Korean Conflict. This project was the precursor to the M38 series. Willys took CJ3A jeeps off the line and converted them to underwater radio jeeps using a mix of MB and M38 parts. Very few examples remain. Even fewer are correctly restored. This actual Jeep was Featured in JP magazine article. This will include correct antennas, antenna case, correct spare parts box, radio remote control housing and speaker, TCS radios, generator mounts, Bendix Scintilla Distributor and many other spare parts not shown. The radios will need a waterproof cabinet and installation. This is basically a brand new Jeep full frame off resto, all original running gear, some reproduction sheet metal was used. 12V conversion but easily converted back to 6v. Optima Yellow top in a tar topper case. Ask any questions before bidding. This is a very rare military vehicle and will be a great addition to any military collection. Clear AZ title but title says 46 CJ2A as is common with military vehicles. This is easily remedied with an inspection. I never got around to doing this.
