Description:

1949 Willys 4-63

This is a complete and original car that was probably repainted and reupholstered in the 70s or 80s. The car was originally metallic blue but repaint is slightly darker. There is evidence of some bondo in some of the rockers. Door bottoms are pretty solid for the age, with some slight surface bubbles on outside bottom surface. Body, fender and doors are very straight and solid. Hood very straight. No evidence this car was ever hit or wrecked. Floors are ok but should be replaced. This car runs good, drove it home 90 miles when I bought it, I drive it around town during the summer. Blows a little smoke when you start it after it sits a while but clears up when you drive it. Definitely needs a clutch, slips bad. The only modification I can see is the addition of a vintage radio, don't think it is stock. Comes with original side curtains, convertible top cover, convertible top frame in excellent condition. 5 new tires, new wiper motor, new brakes, wheel cylinders, rebuilt master. My intention was to restore the car-now that is not going to happen. The following new parts are included with the car; complete front and rear floors, front and back rocker panels, NOS carburetor Carter WA-1, NOS fuel pump, alum.door sill plates, full rubber window gasket set, weather stripping, NOS wiper arms, 3 row alum. Radiator, and 5 SS trim rings. Clear NC titled. Includes mechanics manual and parts list
