This is a project car. If that worries you, move on. Otherwise, read on.
Engine has a noisy lifter. The lifters are solid and not hydraulic. Apparently, noisy lifters is common for this style engine. Oil pressure is good. Engine drives strong. Starts without a problem.
Disc breaks are on all four wheels. Front left break caliper needs replacing. Vehicle drives, but would not recommend long distances or high speeds without addressing the caliper.
Heater core needs replacing.
There is a loose wire somewhere causing a ground fault so the radio and blinkers work intermittently.
Shifts through gears without a problem.
Paint looks much better in the photos than up close.
Things I have done or had done since owning the car: brake master cylinder, fuel pump, alternator, fan clutch, starter motor (checked the the teeth on the fly wheel and they were all good), carburetor tune up, ignition switch.
I have owned the car since Feb 2015, so almost 4 years. I am too busy to give it the attention it needs. Contact me with any questions.
