1962 Volvo Other P1800 Volvo 1800

Volvo P1800 (Jensen) #1265. Red with perforated red interior. This car was originally color code #70- red, with #302 original interior code. Good shape. No significant rust on the car that I could find. Runs and brakes. The car got a lot of new parts around 2007 and 2008 new rebuilt Phil Singher punched out 2130 B20- (The Brute) at the time, this was a 6k motor, Weber side draft 42 carburetors, headers, 2" exhaust, Progressive lowering springs, alternator, electronic fuel pump, duel reservoir master cylinder, New 67-73 radiator, etc brakes hoses, front calipers, tie rods, ball joints, engine and trans mounts, heater and radiator hoses, front wheel bearings, brake shoes, sway bar link kit, etc. What works : wiper motor, (drivers side only), fan, horn, headlights, left taillight, fuel gauge, tach (but registers hight), speedometer, oil pressure gauge, radio work, but not hooked up, ditt, the fog lights, It is tough to find reverse vs 1st gear (beware). the emergency brake is not working and needs adjustment. the door panel on the driver's side is not installed. there appears to be a slight leak in the gas tank by the drain plug in the middle, (despite having it redone by renuzit etc) This is a early Jensen produced P1800 (#1265) and has the correct bull horn bumpers, egg crate grill, license light front white parking lights, C pillar badges, fresh air grill and the correct hub caps and wheels. The chrome is correct but has pitting. the paint has waves inside the fins aft of the rear window and chips here and there. the hood and doors are a slightly different shade of red compared to the rest of the car. I urge anyone interested in this car to come and inspect it or send someone to do so. Please examine pics for condition and ask questions prior to bidding on the car. Sold As is.
