Description:

1972 Volvo Other 1800ES P1800 Volvo 1800

Volvo 1800 ES 1972. Gold with tan interior. This car is color code #105-2.Very good original shape. This car is the most original and lowest milage 1800 I have owned. Runs and brakes well. The floors and frame are very clean as can be seen in the pictures.I found one spot of rust on the passenger side jack support. It has one repaint. The paint has paint loss from gravel it looks like, and scratches and some spots of surface rust. The car recently got a new battery, fuel pump, filter and shocks etc. it has a early electronic ignition which replaced the points and works well. Tires have very little use. Everything works except the clock. The A/C does not blow cold. It is the original correct radio for the year, so. The car has the original top of the line working Blaupunkt am fm stereo radio with the 4 speakers (one is removed from the left front, but is in the back of the car). It also has period correct 70's fog lights that might have been installed when the car was new. the headliner is in good shape. There is clouding on the lower left corner of the windshield. It will need a new passenger side mirror stalk (the old one is in the back of the car). the car has the original luggage straps, spare and jack. The car was always garaged and the seats and the carpets had covers on them to protect them from sun etc. The dash has no cracks and is original as are the seats, which are in great shape. The chrome on the A/C vents is still shiny. 1972 is considered (by some) to be the more desirable year of the two years (1972 and 1973) because of the low production #'s (3000 of the total run of 8000 cars), and the last year of the original style bumpers, smooth grain dash, and lack of rocker switches. I urge anyone interested in this car to come and inspect it or send someone to do so. Please examine pics for condition and ask questions prior to bidding on the car. I have another 50 pictures I can send you with the car on a lift if you request. Sold As is. What is seen in the pics is what is included in the auction. I require a $500.00 deposit within 24 hours of close of auction. Payment due within 7 days of close of auction. Pick up of car within 2 weeks of close of auction. If you cannot follow the payment terms and terms of the auction please do not bid. If you have o or negative feedback, please contact me before bidding. thanks.
