1981 Volvo 240

Selling "AS-IS" for parts but must take entire car.
LIMITED TIME OFFER! ***
Basing my asking price on what you could get just for the engine ($450.00)and transmission ($450.00) at your local salvage yard--that is if you can find them as this model and year is not just an antique but it is getting pretty scarce to boot. (With the transmission having less than 5k miles on it I feel that the price I'm asking is a fair one.)Not running and not sure why as I am not a Volvo mechanic.Engine turns over fine though.Brakes out so will need to be towed.
Last time I drove it the engine was running fine with no knocking of internal parts and the transmission was running fine too. Transmission with new torque converter were rebuilt by local transmission shop Bush Gator.
Good candidate for a restoration or a parts car.
PayPal deposit to winning bidder ($100.00 not refundable) with remaining in cash at pickup.
Clear title in my name but lost. Title fees not included in asking price. All fees for Florida title transfer are payable by buyer.
*** This is a limited time offer as the city is on my back about it. If I have to move this into my garage to get them to leave me alone, nd I go to all the trouble to move it, hen my garage is where it will sit for the next few decades or so, o if you want this you better be quick about it or it will be gone and I'll just sell it as a barn find when it turns 50 years old.
Thanks for looking.
