1966 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

"POOR MAN'S PORSCHE" Garage find 1966 VW Karmann Ghia. This here is the legendary tale of the car left in the Momma's garage for a decade plus, he son passes away and Momma came to the letting go point, nd we jumped on it, nd now this KG is available for sale to the highest bidder.
We found this car in a garage where it had been sitting for over ten years. It appears to have been repainted at some time. The paint is presentable. It has minor damage to the right rear quarter panel where Momma tapped it with the Buick. The paint is broke in a few spots after we pushed the dent out. See photos and video. Included are service records and what appears to be the original owners manual. We tinkered with the fuel system, ooked out the gas tank, nstalled NEW carburetor, nd it runs like a top. We got it to go frontwards and backwards alright, owever, t wouldn't stop. So we went through the entire brake system. It now stops. When you want it to. Other than a new battery, his is all we have done to the car mechanically. It has been road driven about 10 miles, nd performs as a 1966 VW Karmann Ghia that could stand new tires should.
It will take very little for this to be a daily driver.

I've found the best way to win these auctions is to bid high and often. This is not a dime-a-dozen, un-of-the-mll, asy-to-find ratmobile. It is a cult classic in great shape, eady for the next chapter in its not-over-yet life. So spend what it takes to get this hard to find, uch sought after Bavarian icon. It is only money. You'll get more.
