1966 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Here is a 1966 Volkswagen Beetle that has had a complete body off restoration! The restoration was completed in 2015. The car has absolutely no rust and the Sea Blue paint is gorgeous! This car has won numerous awards at local car shows and is considered to be one of the cleanest bugs in town! The only reason I am selling is because I am ready for another project and unfortunately I am forced to sell this to make that next project happen! Below is a list of what all has been done to the car:
- Complete repaint to body separated from the pan back in 2010- Complete new floor pans- Heater channels are unbelievably solid- New CB Performance 2” narrowed adjustable front beam w/ 2.5” dropped spindles and disc brakes- Rebuilt rear brakes with new drums and wheel cylinders- 15x5.5 slotted steel wheels all around wrapped with Nankang 145’s on the front and 205/65r15 Yokohama tires on the rear- Complete fresh interior including new carpet and headliner- Nardi Torino Steering Wheel- Hurst trigger short shifter- Complete all new 12v wiring harness- Aluminum running boards- All new rubber on exterior of the car: hood seals, fender beading, door seals, etc.
Engine Specs:- Freshly rebuilt 1641cc single port motor built last year- Rebuilt heads with new valves and valve guides- Empi 100 cam- Brand new crankshaft- Brand new piston and cylinders- Vintage dual Claudes Buggies Weber 34 (“Baby Webers”) with Claudes Buggies single port manifolds- Vintage Speed dual carb twist type linkage setup- Empi extractor and single quiet pack w/ J-tubes (heat is not hooked up)- Brand new fuel tank
This car runs great and drives great! It is so much fun to drive and is super reliable! Starts up EVERY TIME! The car has the late 70’s/early 80’s “Cal-Look” which was exactly the vision I had for this car! The car also comes with an extra functioningtransaxleand many extra parts. Like I said earlier this bug is one of the cleanest ones around and is a real "head turner"! Thanks for looking!
