Up for sale is a 1968 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia.
This is a NO RESERVE auction.
The floor pansand heater channels are SOLID. The transmission is good. Was told that the transmission was rebuilt about 10 years ago. There currently is no motor in the car, however...I do have a complete 1600cc Dual Port Volkswagen Engine that needs to be rebuild that I would sell for an additional$400 if Buyer is interested. If being shipped, I can bolt it to the transmission of the car, before shipping- no problem.
The Volkswagen is in Primar. There has been some body work done to the car/front end from what I was One headlight area will need attention (Driver side) It appears to be a solid car, please see photos and as well as the link below for more photos.The car rolls easily and has working brakes. From what I can tell, with a running motor and probably some new tires, this car could go back on the road very quickly.
This Ghia is on a 1974 Volkswagen Type 181 Thing Chassis. I have aGeorgia Bill of Sale for the car and Georgia Registration, There is NO TITLE for cars this old in the state of GA. It wouldn't let me put no title on the ad, so I had to put salvage. Winner gets a bill of sale and old registration - from Georgia, that's all you will need to apply for a title in your state. The VIN on the body is 148108665. The VIN on the Chassis is 1842469545. The registration matches the VIN to Chassis.
