VW Diesel with 39,000 miles! Finding one with this low mileage is nearly impossible. I spent $2300 after I bought it and replaced rear wheel bearings, shifter bushings, injection pump, timing belt, V/C gasket, cam seal, water pump, belts, upper and lower radiator hoses, fuel hose kit, valve cover gaskets, T belt tensioner. It has a new battery, fuel filter, and air filter. I have my receipt for work as well as a giant folder filled with receipts from the previous 3 owners. Also included are VW manuals from Bentley, Chilton and 2 Haynes manuals.
It runs like new! (it practically IS new) The rear tailgate was rusty at the bottom so I had it cut and replaced with metal and the truck received a new coat of paint at the same time. Transmission shifts great, brakes are great, and the exhaust is quiet. Interior is good, dash is crack free, seats have no rips or tears, carpet could stand to be cleaned but it is also rip and tear free. Headliner sags some. Original Rabbit floor mats included. Engine is strong and has never been turned into a french fry machine.
Maine DOES NOT TITLE VEHICLES BUILT PRIOR TO 1995. It is registered and I can sign that over to the new owner along with a bill of sale. This has never been a problem and you see it on Ebay all the time. A Rabbit Diesel with less than 40,000 miles.... priceless!
