1973 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Classic VW, in good shape for its age. It's been in the same family since rolling off the assembly line, and ran great when it was a daily driver (it even passed emissions when it was registered in California for a brief period in 2009.) Having a kid made it impractical, so it's just been sitting for the last 5 years.
It wouldn't take much to get her up and running again, and would make a great project car (even comes with 2 service manuals!) The tires, including the full size spare, are in great condition. Some minor engine work is needed: new battery, tune up, master brake cylinder needs bleeding. The body is in great shape. Cosmetically it needs the passenger side chrome molding reattached, the passenger door handle and interior panel refurbished, and the radio area of the dash fixed. Comes with all the necessary parts to correct the cosmetic stuff, as well as the original jack.
It's been a tough decision to let this car go, but we'd much rather it being driven and appreciated (and turning heads with its pink paint job), than sitting in the driveway.
