1964 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

This is one sweet bug! Power is supplied via the 1600 with rare induction topped off with a nice webber carb, new clutch and a freshly reconditioned freeway flyer trans. Brakes are tip top, all electrical is 12 volts and done right. This car starts at the turn of the key and runs excellent! This 64 body was set on a later IRS pan, clean! Body wise, very clean metal, not a bondo bucket. Doors open and close, tight and sound, no slamming allowed! Vent windows were removed for the so-cal look- I hate it and extra parts doors are included if you wish to convert it back to original configuration. Newer tires mounted on custom rims..nice look! Ragtop is factory- newer hartz canvas, works excellent. Interior is excellent, newer headliner. Seats show well although there is a small hole in the lower driver's seat. Carpets are excellent and of high quality. Steering wheel is beautiful. I have an under dash rack that will be included in the sale. Paint is driver quality and shows well, but does have very small touch-ups here and there. Front has nice, adjustable beam. Tilt out rear 1/4 glass, engine compartment chrome kit. This car is quality, not a made over project car. Your money is safe with this one. Thousands spent in receipts, they come with the car, you can spend less on one, but by the time you would get it to this level, this car would be cheap in comparison. $12500 or best offer. I'm selling the car, so reasonable offers made early will probably cinch the deal. Oh, by the way, this car does not leak oil! No battery drains, starts easily...enough said! Questions?
