Description 1967 Beetle Classic with Sunshade   A very unique, one of a kind, customized 1967 VW Beetle. Runs and drives great! Does not heat up. This is a WOW car with bragging rights. A black Beetle completely customized with a sliding canvas sun shade, four wheel disc brakes, an independent rear suspension with new swing away axles and German rear axle bearings, new shocks, front 3/4" sway bar, completely customized black interior and VDO gauges including a GPS speedometer, 4 speed manual transmission with Scat shifter, 16" alloy freshly powder coated wheels with 4 new radial tires 205/50ZR/16, the wow! engine around 1700 cc with deep oil sump and a real, full size HP-1 oil filter and high speed oil pump. Keeping it cool is a new Bosch alternator with a heavy duty cooling fan attached with a serpentine belt system. Fuel comes from a new tank with a Carter electric rotary fuel pump with two filters and a new fuel line from tank to motor. Then the fuel goes to two new Weber (Spain) IDF 40s wth stacks and filters. Powermaster torque starter. Rear removable custom side panels within rear wheel wells for proper carb adjustment and easy spark plug replacement. The fuel is then dropped into a set of CB044 heads, combustion chambers fired off by a new MSD 8485 distributor and MSD box and, of course, new 8.5 plug wires attached to the heads is a set of complete headers with a quiet muffler, new push rod tubes, new battery and modern day fuse panel. Doesn't leave a puddle of oil. The metal body is straight as an arrow - paint is a 9.5 and black shows everything! European headlights. I'm sure I left something out - a really nice ride.
