1958 Volkswagen Other

Up for bid is an awesome Volkswagen street legal dune buggy Meyers Manx style. This buggy uses the chassis of a 1958 Volkswagen beetle. The car has a brand new engine that was built up to a 1688cc. It has dual empi carbs for more power as well. There was also an oil pump and filter added so you dont have to clean a screen when changing oil. Engine has an alternator instead of old style generator. The transmission was fully rebuilt and a empi lightweight flywheel was added. Car runs great. I drove it on highway the other day and got up to 65mph no issues. I think it could do well over 70mph. The car is super light so the power it has is more than enough. After engine and transmission work I got car painted a hemi orange with a metallic flake that looks really good. Headlights were replaced with brand new chrome empi headlights. Turn signals work, tail lights work, horn works, pretty much everything you need for car to be street legal. Front seats have seat belts as well. I installed front and rear black tube bumpers and the back is a full cage.I will throw in 4 speaker pods that you see in one of the photos also in case you want to add stereo. I was going to do that but never did. Speedometer also works and I will also include another spare. The floor of car was coated with herculiner. Car currently has California plates and a California title. It is titled as a special construction and is a clear title. I'm sure I'm forgetting other stuff about the car. Overall the car is a great runner that looks great. You get eyeballs everywhere and people wanting to talk about it. Once purchased there will be a non refundable $1000 PayPal deposit within 24hrs. Rest of payment will be due within 7 days via cash in person, wire transfer, or certified cashiers check. If you want to ship car I can assist with that but payment will be responsibility of buyer. This car does not have an existing warranty. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. I am trying to give as much detail as possible. Good luck!!!
