STORY -

A group of my child hood friendsgrew up in Rowland Heights working on how fast we could drop a motor and obviously how fast we could run them. As with most kids from a middle class family, could only afford to go as fast as my part time paycheck could afford. Fast forward to 2008,my brother in law's bachelor party along with a limo, ocktails and the childhood guys reminiscing about what we would have builtnow that we could afford it.One of theboys says Ican build it if you want to pick up the tab! The next weekend we drove to the Pomona swap meet and paid$15k for acompletely restored convertible with stock 1600cc pee shooters that couldn't get out ofit's own way. Fast forward and we have spentover $50k with the motor and transmission totaling$20k.I have enjoyed thecar for the past few yearsbut we recently movedand lost garage space soit's time to let someone enjoy the highway cruiser that's a quarter-mile pleaserwithout having to personally spend all thedollars and labor.
