1956 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Amazing Condition Unrestored

This beetle was built in November of 1955. With the exception of a few small scratches, a couple dings, less than expected wear, and 69,889km or 43,427 miles this car is as it was when it left the factory 62 years ago. It is uncommon enough to find an unrestored car at this age; it is remarkable to find an unrestored car in this condition. I have owned this car for 33 years. It has always been stored in a climate controlled environment, serviced regularly and driven very occasionally.

The Firestone Deluxe Champion tires are over 40 years old, are the second set for the car and are not dry rotted and hold air normally. The spare tire is one of its original Continentals. The interior is clean, free of odors and complete. The floors are in remarkable condition and have not been refinished. The exterior is free of damage and shows no signs of repair or repaint. The paint is glossy, there are a couple light scratches a few stone chips that were touched up, and a couple dings less than ¼", all far more than acceptable for a car this age. The engine and transmission work as they should, the clutch works perfectly. There is an oil leak, as expected... The brakes function properly including the hand brake.

There is a glass reservoir behind the spare for the windshield washer system, and an accessory ignition and steering lock which functions perfectly. The 6 volt Battery will hold a charge and start the car. Currently the car is stored with a fresh oil change and no fuel in the tank.

The pictures tell the story; this car is a remarkable unrestored and complete example of an Oval Window. Thanks for looking Bid to win, there is only one like this.
