1971 Volkswagen Pickup Extended Crew Cab!Hello to all eBayers!
I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I’m liquidating my collection since I’m selling my warehouse.
Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the right place...! I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. I bought this vehicle with the intention of bringing it to California to add to my collection.
This VW TRUCK is located in a COPART facility in WALDORF, MD. I tried to sell it on COPART but this vehicle is a classic clean vehicle and they have a salvage yard so it's not the best place to sell this vehicle there. You can purchase the vehicle through Ebay or you can purchase it through COPART by becoming a member. This vehicle has a clear VIRGINIA title. If you need me to get a CA title for this vehicle there is a small fee included in the process.
1971 Volkswagen Type 2 Truck Extended Crew Cab Very Rare
You are looking at a rare 1971 Volkswagen Type 2 Extended Crew Cab Truck. The odometer shows 34,810 miles, but on the title it has 123,573 not actual miles. It could actually have 134,810 miles. This is a very rare 1971 VW T2 Double Pick-up! I bought it from a collector of rare automobiles from Virginia and this is truly a unique and awesome VW. When have you seen one of these before? It is such a rarity and a beauty.
The truck is equipped with an air-cooled 1600-CC engine that has dual intake ports on each cylinder head and produces 50 HP. This VW is mechanically sound and can be driven and enjoyed.
The truck comes with an extra transmission, which is inside of the bed, you can see it in the pictures.
All lights and gauges are working.
It runs and drives smoothly, and the 4-speed transmission shifts nicely. The clutch is great.
Exterior is in great condition. It’s got a very nice paint. The undercarriage is very dry and solid. This vehicle has always been garage–kept. It has some minor imperfections, but no rust holes. The bed is very nice and clean. All glass is great.
The interior is in a fantastic shape. It looks so lovely in a beige color.
Only 5.9 percent of Volkswagen’s worldwide truck production for 1971 consisted of double-cab pickups, and only a tiny fraction of those were imported into the U.S., making this a very rare find indeed.
It is such an attention getter, that it’s a blast to drive it around!
Please note, I want to make sure that you are absolutely satisfied with your purchase. Bid with confidence and if you have any questions that I might not have covered in the description, don't hesitate to ask. You can email me or send me your telephone number and I will give you a call. I have tried my best to describe this vehicle as accurately as I can. Remember, this car is from the 1970’s and can have some imperfections that I'm not aware of.
Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. I can cooperate with your shipper. This vehicle is advertised on other websites, so I have the right to end the auction early if it gets sold. I'm not a dealer, but just a very passionate collector of classic cars and trucks.

All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.

I’m saying this because I’ve had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered! If you are buying and paying for this classic, please contact your transporter after vehicle is picked up and within 2 hours please give me a positive feedback!
This is your chance to own a great classic at a great price!
