1986 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon Campmobile GLFor sale is a chocolate brown, manual 1986 Westfalia Wolfsburg Edition Vanagon Weekender we call Rolo. We are the third owners; we bought him from a seller in Oklahoma and drove him back to Seattle. Previously, he had been located in California. Our family has now increased in number and we no longer fit (it seats six), so it is time to sell.
We have had most everything replaced or upgraded in the few years that Rolo has been a part of our family. He has no rust and original paint. All of the work was done by George and Jason Wakita at Porbug Repair in Edmonds, Washington. If you are a Vanagon owner and live anywhere in the Pacific Northwest, you have likely heard of Porbug. They do excellent work and are extremely honest and fair. The van just got back from their shop getting a new gas tank, idle regulator and fuel pump that, with all the other upgrades, make it a dependable vehicle that is ready for adventure.
Below follows a partial list of the work that has been done, and the accessories we have purchased through Van Cafe, Go Westy, the Bus Depot, Fiamma, and Sewfine.
