1974 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

I bought this VW last summer to restore for my daughter that always wanted one. I live in Boise Idaho (high desert). The previous owner said that it has 125k original on it. It was their car and then gave it to his daughter for college. It was tired but no damage (or accidents) and no rust known. As I finished the restoring job, y daughter was transfered and never had the chance to even drive it. That's why its up sale.
I'm not a mechanic so I took it to a VW expert to have it inspected. He said that he had actually rebuilt the tranny for this car for the previous owner. I had him rebuild this motor with new parts and includes the clutch, ressure disc, ly-wheel, tc. Then it when to Les Schwab for Brand New brakes (all around). The tires look very good, ven the spare.
Brand new parts include: Brakes, eadliner, arpet, eats covers, oor panels, LL new seals throughout, ew windshield, uter chrome pieces. The car was stripped down to bare metal (took 48 hours to do) ...(NO FIBERGLASS).....found NO rust (that we know of), o Bondo and No damage. Drives GREAT, hifts and stops GREAT. VERY TIGHT because of Brand new seals. Brand new battery. All glass was installed with new seals...for the doors...new furries and scrapers. New white fender-beads. New carpet in the trunk. with new 4-star wheel wrench with original spare-tire jack (works great). New beauty-rings and new hub-caps.
Close to $10,000 in parts and labor and NOT to mention my time. All work was done by professionals and my time was to help, lean and detail (many hours)...I was great to work on on this classic.
The rear window defroster does not word (I'm told this is typical) and the odometer has just stopped even tho the speedo is good. Nice stereo and 2 speakers in the back.
THE HAS ONLY 25 MILES ON IT SINCE REBUILT! The new paint job is Cherry Red with black interior....see the photos...Everyone that has seen the car...loves it...me too.
Buyer pays for shipping (will help arrange if needed). If you use PayPal....add 3% for the final price. Any checks will be CLEARED by my bank before letting go of the car. I have a 100% rating on E-Bay. Thanks for looking. Ask any questions.
