This is a BEAUTIFUL "Matching numbers" 1972 VW BUS in beige and white, interior super nicely done in black and white. CLEAR CALIFORNIA TITLE. Engine was serviced and partly rebuilt in early 2017. FULL DESCRIPTION: In the following description I am trying to list most of the work that was done. I am trying to describe the vehicle as good and detailed as I can.
EXTERIOR: Painted in dual color paint job in light beige and white. The paint job was done well. It looks very original (not too glossy). Paint job was done in December 2016. Rims and bumpers painted in white. New original VW emblem was purchased, painted in white and installed. It is the real original emblem. These are expensive ($200) and hard to find . New chrome mirrors installed. New antenna installed. New chrome hub caps installed. Many more new chrome parts installed. New sliding door rubber installed. New trunk rubber installed. New blinker and reflector lenses installed. New windshield and windshield weatherstrip installed.
INTERIOR: The interior of the bus was done very nicely and originally. Finest materials were used. The color combination is off white, and black. Interior is complete with 3 passenger rear and 2 passenger center bench. Seats and benches are done in a nice black leather with beige strips. The headliner was redone very original in white. The panels are the original black panels. Carpets are new black rubber carpets. Everything is ver nice and original. Windows: All window work and open and close fine. Locksmith made brand new original looking keys for doors and ignition switch.
ENGINE: The engine was serviced and partially rebuild in 2017: New piston rings, gasket set, seals, spark plugs installed. Oil changed. New electric fuel pump installed.
BRAKES: New brake discs right and left installed. New brake booster installed. New brake pads installed. General brake service done.
TRANSMISSION shifts great and all gears stay in gear.
ELECTRIC: Some electric was rewired. New gaskets and light bulbs installed. New blinker switch bought and installed. This was very expensive and super hard to find since 1972 is a one year model.The bus has an original radio and speakers. Currently the radio is not connected. I thought it is the best to leave it up to the new owner how he or she would like to have the entertainment set up. New ignition switch installed. Head lights work, blinkers work, hazard lights work. New horn installed. I could keep on talking, but just see all photos for details!
The car is parked at a safe underground garage.

5. If winning bidder does not contact us within 24 hours and doesn't submit deposit within one business day or 24 hours of auction close, vehicle may be available to the next highest bidderor another qualified buyer on a first come, first serve basis

6. We have represented this vehicle to the best of its ability. Prospectivebidders are encouraged to contact us directly to provide additional information or answer any questions

7 Please be aware that all pre-owned vehicles, regardless of age, mileage or manufacturer are subject to cosmetic wear and mechanical failure. 9 Final of winning bid price does not include shipping, tag, title, or registration fees. It is the purchaser's responsibility to provide for any state or local taxes and shipping expenses resultingfrom the state.

10. We can assist you in getting the vehicle to the transport truck driver of your choice in San Diego. We assume no responsibility for damages or delays incurred once a vehicle is in a shipper'scustody.
