Up for sale is my 1973 VW Super Beetle Convertible This is not a Race Car, it is a very street-able PRO Street, I built the car to drive and show at local car shows.

Full custom boxed frame with 1/4 floor pan.

The body was taken to bare metal and any rust either replaced or repaired

(New rear fenders, Splash Apron)

Wale tail spoiler mounted on steel trunk lid (actually engine cover)

Custom front end with VW McPherson struts, adjustable camber plates, mustang II power rack and pinion. VW Disc brakes front with dual piston calipers.

New fiberglass tilt front end.

Crate small block Chevy ( 375 hp @ 5400 rpm)

• 390 ft.-lbs. @ 3900 rpm

• 4-bolt main

• 4.00 in. bore

• 3.48 in. stroke

• 2-piece rear main seal

• Align honed main bearing bore

• Cylinders honed on computer controlled machine to within .0002 straightness and roundness

• Chevy heavy beam rods with 150,000 PSI bolts

• Hydraulic flat tappet cam

Lobe Separation: 107 Duration @.50” lift 235/249

Intake Centerline: 102 Valve Lift: 489/476

Lobe Lift: 327/317

• Hardened retainers and springs

• 1.94 swirl polished intake valves

• 1.50 swirl polished exhaust valves

• 9.5 to 1 compression

Weiand 144 Street Supercharger Kit

Set at 6 to 8 psi.

Electronic Ignition

Holley 750cfm 4-bbl Carburetor with Dual fuel inlet and regulator

Electric Fuel Pump with full 3/8 steel fuel line.

12-gal fuel cell.

Turbo 350 with shift kit and 2500 stall converter

B & M shifter

Narrowed 12 Chevy Rear end 3:73 Posi with Strange axles and long studs

15x 15 rear rims and tires/Mickey Thomson 29-18-5-15

Fully functional parachute

Functional wheelie bars

GM style tilt steering column.

Ron Francis Wiring harness and fuse panel.

Bosch Gauges including Boost gauge

Speedometer is NOT hooked up.

The car has less than 1000 miles since built.. The engine runs really good for the street and that's what it wasbuilt for.

You don’t need to worry or ask how this car drives, it drives straight and great.
