Description:

1971 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon

71 Vw Bus. It had been sitting since 1992. I have a clean Nebraska title. It has the air cooled 1600cc Dual port engine. Highly desirable. It is an A/C bus. The condenser is there but the lines are dead headed in the engine compartment. . The lines are ran up to the engine compartment and are open.Just put in new electronic fuel pump, plugs, wire, ca, rotor, points. It does run and drive and stop on its own. Sometimes it runs great and others it stalls. I am sure the carb needs gone through. Brakes are weak. I have a battery that may be able to go with it if not we can use it to load it on a trailer. Body is decent. It does have a couple of dents on the right front. A couple of bullet holes in the rear. Some misc small dents and some rust, not much though. It will need a windshield, back glass, and 1 side window. The front floor pans need replaced but the rest of the floor is great. Frame is solid. Bumpers are in great shape with the step on rubber still good. Has the original spare tire cover. I cannot get the rear hatch to open. All other doors function as they should. Drivers seat has a rip. The far back seat has 1 corner that is rough. The passenger seat and middle bench are good maybe a small tear here or there but just needs cleaned. The dash has 2 small cracks by the pull handle, the rest of the dash is good, just dirty. Has all 4 hubcaps. Front and rear tires do not match. Will need a headliner. Over all this is a great restoration project. It will take a little work to get it road worthy then you can drive and restore as you want. I am trying to point out everything that is not good on it. I am sure I am missing something both good and bad. Please give me a call if interested so there is no surprises. I would like a $200 deposit through paypal and the rest in cash upon pick up unless we work something else out ahead of time. Thanks for looking. 402-416-1497 Jeremy
