1969 rare AUTOMATIC VW Squareback type 3

1969 Volkswagen Squareback

Cute Auto Squareback. This was a love project. Bought from original owner's state. The car was falling apart and I have restored it little by little until it's present condition. Runs real nice.
This cars came with fuel injection for the auto transmission, but they don't make those fuel injected parts anymore, so my mechanic suggested I switch to double carburetors for easy maintenance.
Paint is maybe 30 years old, chips and scratches, but it looks great as long as it's clean and shiny. It was high quality baked-in paint job they did.
The gauge lists 60,000 miles, but I put a better gauge as the originals where in really bad shape, so the milage is unknown.
