1971 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon ?

For sale is my 1971 VW Van. I bought this a year or so ago as a fixer upper. Unfortunately my job does not allow me the time to drive or put the finishing touches on. I purchased the van as a day camper set up. The sale will come with all of the cabinets, sink, ice box and table, all of which are in great condition. The ice box could use a wash I took it out when I gutted the interior and had no plans to re-use. The van has all new paint in and out which is the factory pastel white, it was painted by a local shop.(Engine compartment and the wheels need to be painted still. I have the paint and was planning to paint myself but have not had any time.) The interior was custom made by bamboo wagons in LA. The front seats were upholstered with all springs in tact. The back seat and was wrapped in the same material. The bucket seat is the stock yellow vinyl thatcame originally under the blanket. I covered them with the Mexican blanketsbecause I liked the look, not hiding anything. The motor is a 1600cc which was recently gone through by a local VW mechanic - Fuse box, ignition, Fuel lines, belts, spark plugs, a few brake linesect were all replaced. Odometer shows 300,000 miles.This Van is a great driver, cabinets can be re-installed and used as a great camper. The things that need to be done still - Paint wheels and engine compartment, speedo and fuel gauge seem to work 1/2 the time, radio, sun visors, interior lights.... Just minor stuff.
