1967 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic DELUXE

50th anniversary VW...check out " Lane Russell" 1967 VW only web site for complete info. on this model. Restoration started in March 2014, completed Dec 2016. Working part time and searching for proper replacement parts. All German parts that are available, some N.O.S and proper used items thanks to Samba members, new from Wolfsburg West, Airhead ect. Case was machined to within recommend tolerances. O.E.M Heads..new valves, guides ect. 1600 pistons/cyl...New clutch assembly...Complete new braking system.. This was going to be my last VW to own :) until I came across a Westy, sooo my 67 has to go to finance the work on my Westy...Bought my first VW in 1966, and have owned them since. All new interior is from TMI, except seats. back seat is original, front seats have TMI covers put on in the 80's I just cleaned them up... Front winshield has some pits, wiper rub...Pop out side windows...All paint is PPG...small area under battery was replaced retaining the original hold downs... Original front and rear aprons, left rear fender was replaced in the 70's new battery. NO RUST..My car was bought new and lived its life in the San Francisco bay area!!! (I am fourth owner) Valve adjustments, tune-ups, oil changes done by independant vw shop, major work by the VW dealer...I have a number of receipts, and previous California DMV registrations.Interior paint is #88 black/Zenith Blu... wheels are #86 cumulus white/L43 black. Sound deadening material installed in roof and rear fire wall area... Every part that was suspect was replaced with either better used or new. Only non-stock part that did not come with car is the key-locked shifter and radio delete plate.. Have any and all questions please call 530-6151876 at resonable hrs. my name is Jerry...
