1991 Volkswagen Bus/Vanagon GL

We purchased this Vanagon from a customer and couldn't bring ourselves to parting it out as we knew it would bring more value to someone who is a VW collector. Below is a detailed list of what we know about the vehicle to the best of our knowledge:
- It is a 1991 Vanagon GL model with 133,182 miles- It has a clean and clear FL title- There are NO BRAKES on this Vanagon. We do not know the problem, and have not checked it out.- The engine fires right up, but there is a "tapping" in the engine. We do not know the problem, and have not checked it out.- There is NO BATTERY that comes with this vehicle. We used one of ours to start and verify operation of vehicle. It WILL NOT come with a battery.- It is an AC vehicle, however, there is no AC belt on the compressor, and we have not tested nor can verify that AC is functional. (please see pictures)- The power steering belt is also off the vehicle, and we have not tested nor can verify the power steering system. (please see pictures)- The original color is maroon, but the previous owner painted the Vanagon green. (please see pictures)
With the above said, we have only driven this vehicle in our yard just to move it to a covered area. As stated, we felt that selling the vehicle as a whole would be a better idea than parting it out, as it is very hard to find a Vanagon in this shape. The body is in good condition, and the interior is EXCELLENT condition for a vehicle that is almost 27 years old. All of the lenses, glass, and misc parts are in great shape as well. The Vanagon also comes with a Kenwood sound system, and even the original owners manual and sleeve. The pictures speak for themselves, and everything seen in pictures is EXACTLY what is being described. Please note that this vehicle will have to be towed from here because is has NO BRAKES.
