Complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration as noted.
Stripped to bare shell, quality bodywork, 5 coats Polyurethane Primer, INSIDE AND OUT, sanded smooth, 5 coats of Acrylic Enamel single stage. Color sanded and buffed to a deep shine.
Reassembled using ONLY German or American made weather stripping, seals, scrapers, u felt, etc.
New TMI upholstery on front seats and door panels.
New front door handles. Every mechanism cleaned and back to operating like new.
New floor mats, kick panels, visors, rear carpet.
Original one year only Yellow fabric professionally cleaned. A few blemishes-but again- it is the original upholstery. Only original once. (See note below)
New windshield and seal. All new tail lights, markers, bezels, bulbs, Stainless Steel mirrors, new Hella headlight bezels, the list is extensive. Jalousies refinished.
New shocks, cv joints/boots, brakes, drums, calipers, hoses, cables, rotors, ball joints and alignment using quality brands such as ATE, TRW, Lobro etc.
New 8 ply load range D tires mounted and balanced on refinished rims.
Upgraded with rebuilt 2000 cc dual carb engine- NOT the original 1700.
Brand new genuine dual Weber 40 carbs. Carbs jetted and tuned for optimum performance and mileage.
Rebuilt 4 speed manual transmission, clutch etc.
Both have under 10 miles on them!
Gas tank refinished and sealed. New filler hose, new vent lines, new fuel hoses, clamps, etc! No detail overlooked!
Powder coated rear bumper mounts too along with refinished bumpers.
Very rare jump Seat VW of America Air conditioning system. Complete minus compressor. I have never seen one of these.
Well known ICE Air Inc.here in town can fix ac system if you choose to do so.
