1983 Rabbit Pickup It has a 1.6 liter N/A Diesel engine with a WVO conversion. it starts every time, injectors and injection pump both less than 2 years old. New glow plug relay, fuse, and plugs. The starter was new this spring, new shock/stuts/springs. New front and rear ball joints, calipers, wheel cylinders, steering rack, tie rods and tie rod ends. Also has a new exhaust with dual mainfold, updated MK2 intake, . It will do 35+ MPG on the highway, as I recorded on a trip to Iowa and back at the end of June. All the lights work, and the headlights are new. The steering is tight and very responsive. There are some rust bubbles on the exterior B Pillars, but it is still stiff and very repairable. Shock towers are spotless. The body is very straight, and the truck rides down the road straight with no vibrations. It doesn't overheat, and has a factory thermoswitch setup for the factory fan. The carpet Less than a year old The dash is fading but in good overall condition. Price is set to sell. Love this truck but have a growing family and would like to see it go to another enthusiast who will take as good care of it as i have. Thanks for looking!
