Description:

1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

1971 VW pan, 1973 1600cc engine. I do not know the maker of the fiberglass body, but it is early 70's. It was originally blue sparkly gelcoat. Body was stripped and painted professionally in March 2016, base coat/clear coat red. Looks incredible. Engine rebuilt 3 years ago by previous owner. New tires with zero miles, new seats and tracks, brake hoses, new fluids, shocks, spark plugs, plug wires, distributor, headlights, marker lights, accelerator cable, roller gas pedal, side mirrors, and seat belts (front and back). This was a winter restoration project for my kids and I. The clutch cable nut still needs adjusted and the engine needs fined tuned (timed). Includes a box of extra engine and body parts. We need the space for a new project so this is going. This runs and drives although we have only driven it up and down the road a few times that's when I discovered it needed the clutch cable nut adjusted and engine timed. I have a clear title and it is currently registered in New York as a Volkswagen Beetle. A canvas top is included.
