1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic
1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible. Less than 5000 miles on rebuilt 1600cc engine and Freeway Flyer transmission. I am the 3rd owner. New parts include: fabric top and liner, Kenwood stereo/CD player, rear speakers, seats, carpet, boot for top, new tires and rims, struts, exhaust, body panels, floor panels, fuel tank, bumpers, and paint. Glass is original. I bought it in 2010 and put in the rebuilt engine and transmission. I have also had the following work done: brake job, engine tune up and valve adjustment, clutch adjustment, new starter, new battery, new battery lead, new wheel bearings, new ball joints, new front axle, tire rotation. I have never hooked up the window washer fluid. There is no heater. I will include a car cover and a bottle of computer matched touch-up paint. I have included pictures of body imperfections, all of which were present when I purchased the car. Some of the chrome has some surface rust. There is a little rust underneath but it does not impact the integrity of the car. It is to be expected for a 45 year old car! The pans are fine as they were replaced by the previous owner who did the bodywork. This is a very fun little car. It drives well and doesn't leak oil!
